In this way, the painting becomes an autonomous entity, whose flat surface no longer refers to anything but itself, thus overcoming everything related to representation and the illusion of depth. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has received awards such as the BMW Prize, the Bot\u00edn Foundation Visual Arts grant and the residency grant for the Cit\u00e9 des Arts in Paris. Asimismo, su trabajo se ha mostrado tanto en ferias internacionales como Maco, Liste, Photo Miami, CIRCA, ARCO, Estampa, etc como en instituciones entre las que destacan el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, Fundaci\u00f3n Cerezales Antonino y Cinia (Le\u00f3n), Fundaci\u00f3n RAC (Pontevedra) y forma parte de importantes colecciones como el Parlamento Europeo, AECID, Colecci\u00f3n Pilar Citoler, Colecci\u00f3n Mariano Yera, Ministerio de Cultura de Espa\u00f1a, Fundaci\u00f3n Antonio Gala, Galila Barzilai Collection (Bruselas) y la Berezdivin Collection (Puerto Rico).
