Luis Adelantado Valencia is pleased to present the selected artists for what will be Luis Adelantado’s last call: CALL 20, which will take place on July 5 at 8 pm. Despite the fact that CALL is coming to an end this year, Luis Adelantado Valencia will continue supporting young artists, as has been the case for the last 20 years. With this change, our gallery aims to direct the support received for CALL towards curated projects to be exhibited in our Boiler Room, where the work of each artist will be articulated in a more defined and continuous space. We invite you to follow our Boiler Room’s programme closely if you want to appreciate young art.
The artists selected for this edition are: Lluc Baños (Barcelona, 1985) with his sculptural approach to language that starts from the system of perception of images, French artist Noémie Boulon (Chartres, 1984) who is presenting a series of canvases, that function as an allegory of time, with its folds and breaches. Madrid-born artist Ana de Fontecha (Madrid, 1990) with her large volume-based installation with large volumes of wood, the sculptor and Fine Arts Ph.D. Esther Gatón (Valladolid, 1988) with her sculptures encapsulating anthropomorphic references, Carmen Jiménez (Badajoz, 1990) and her pictorial approach to abstraction.
Artist David Lerones (Pontevedra, 1983) and his contemporary photography that reflects the everyday with great sensitivity, artist Elisa Pardo (Madrid, 1988) with a set of pieces about communication through codes. The Italian Gianandrea Poletta (Venice, 1984) who has recently exhibited in Palermo in relation to Manifesta 12, as well as Cristian Raduta (Bucharest, 1982) who has just presented his exhibition The Extra Mile at Nicodim Gallery. Finally Daniel Salamanca (Bogotá, 1983), who is taking part in this exhibition with his project Aquel que observa la hora.
