The work by José Luis Cremades offers a reflection on the practice painting in its very essence, understood by the artist as a language alive in constant transformation. Through the use of the resources inherent in the art form itself —composition, colour, texture, rhythm…— creates works abstract with presence and meaning unique.
In this way Cremades offers the spectator a space of contemplation and reflection , almost mystical, spiritual, in which the result of his practice and constant insistence on painting ends up revealing to us what was previously hidden.
He has exhibited his work at institutions such as the Centro Párraga in Murcia, or the MuVIM in Valencia; as well as the MAC, A Coruña, Casal Solleric, Palma de Mallorca and Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània, Valencia. Likewise, his work has been worthy of awards such as the medal of honour from the BMW Painting Prize, the Alfons Roig Scholarship or the III Ibercaja Acquisition Award.
