Luis Adelantado Valencia is pleased to invite you to a new proposal in Boiler Room – its youngest space – with a solo exhibition dedicated to the artist Luciana Novo on the 9th of June.
Luciana Novo is a multidisciplinary artist, her practice, very close to sculpture and linked to installation, generates spaces that border on the fantastic, the magical.
The exhibition Possibility of Landscape is the result of a working process that has taken place in the gallery space itself, during which the artist has physically and conceptually moved part of her studio to the Boiler Room, taking over the space and generating a concrete and unique installation through the experiential. Her pieces are recognised between the immutable of nature and the manufacturable of consumer materials, generating a very characteristic aura.
This installation has been created expressly for the space that will contain it and will be open to the public from 9 June. It is made up of his personal mythologies, and focuses on his accumulative and installation sculptural production. In this way, a recreation is generated, a possibility of intuitive landscape, in which realism frequently appears. The conjunction of the elements of nature, always present in the essence of his work, is allied with elements of the consumer society.
The aim is to generate a sensory experience, which encompasses all the senses and transports us into the artist’ s universe. To this end, the artist collaborates with Odo7, who has created a series of essences for the exhibition Possibility of Landscape.
