CALL 20. Lluc Baños, Noémie Boulon, Ana de Fontecha, Esther Gatón, Carmen Jiménez, David Lerones, Elisa Pardo, Gianandrea Poletta, Cristian Raduta y Daniel Salamanca.

Luis Adelantado Valencia is pleased to present the artists who have been selected for what will be the last call of Luis Adelantado: the CALL 20, which will take place next 5th July at 20:00 h. The CALL is coming to an end this year, but the Luis Adelantado gallery continues to support young people as it has been doing for the last 20 years. With this change the gallery is directing this support, which has manifested itself in CALL, towards more curated projects, where the work project of each artist can be better explained in a defined and continuous space such as Boiler Room, so we invite you to follow the Boiler programme closely to take the pulse of young art.
The artists selected for this edition are: the artist Lluc Baños (Barcelona, 1985) with an approach to language based on the system of perception of images, the French artist Noémie Boulon (Chartres, 1984) will present a series of canvases that function as an allegory of time, with its folds and cracks. The Madrid-born Ana de Fontecha (Madrid, 1990) presents a work of an installation nature, with large wooden volumes, while the sculptor and Doctor of Fine Arts Esther Gatón (Valladolid, 1988) will present her sculptures with large-format anthropomorphic references. Carmen Jiménez (Badajoz, 1990) is committed to a pictorial proposal close to abstraction.
The artist David Lerones (Pontevedra, 1983) participates in CALL with a contemporary photography proposal that reflects the everyday with great sensitivity. The artist Elisa Pardo (Madrid, 1988) presents a set
of pieces that reflect on communication through codes. The Italian Gianandrea Poletta (Venice, 1984) who has recently exhibited in Palermo in connection with Manifesta 12, will also be part of the CALL, as will Cristian Raduta (Bucharest, 1982) who has just presented his exhibition The Extra Mile, at the Nicodim gallery. Finally, the artist Daniel Salamanca (Bogotá, 1983) will be part of the exhibition with his project Aquel que observa la hora.
