The dream of the image is the first solo exhibition by Ana Prada at the Galería Luis Adelantado. The exhibition occupies the four galleries of the venue and brings together a collection of works in which the artist transforms everyday objects, stripping them of their original function in order to trigger new relationships between matter, form and image.
Through processes involving repetition, assembly and movement, Prada transforms household items into structures open to new interpretations, positioning the transformation as the central axis of a sculptural practice which explores the territory where the familiar becomes becomes strange and perception is renewed.
